Library Access For Preceptors and Residents: Request an OpenAthens Account

Why do I need an OpenAthens Account?

OpenAthens is an access management platform that enables Touro University students, faculty and staff access the libraries' electronic resources. An Open Athens Account gives you access to the Library's subscription databases and the full text of journals and ebooks.

To gain access, fill out the following form, upload your Preceptor or Resident Acceptance letter, then schedule a mandatory orientation session with your Librarian.

NOTE: The authentication process will differ based on whether resources are accessed via Touro's portal or directly from a content provider's website.

Accounts expire annually on June 30th.  Your account can be renewed and will remain valid as long as you are affiliated with or an employee of Touro.
