Unless a journal or article is available for free, you need to have a subscription in order to access the full text of the article. The options for viewing the full text of articles are available as icons under each record in the search results list. (you must be signed into OpenAthens for the library's links to work). Clicking on a publisher's icon will open to the full text article if we subscribe to it. Clicking on the
icon will open a list of links to to access the full text of the article if it is included one of our electronic subscriptions,
or a link to our ILL form
if the selected article isn't in our collection.
Enter as much information as is available (especially the PMID, article title and journal title). The library staff will order the article and email it to you when we receive it. There is no way borrow articles directly through PubMed.
NOTE: The links on PubMed don't always work. Keep the library's website open in tandem, to search for the article before filling out the ILL form.
