ClinicalKey: Home

What is ClinicalKey?

Clinical Key combines a broad range of resources within a single interface: Full text journals & reference books; Medline citations; First Consult point-of-care guide ; Procedures Consult surgical videos; Clinical Pharmacology drug monographs and Practice Guidelines from the National Guideline Clearinghouse.

FirstConsult summarizes evidence, primarily from the Cochrane Collaboration and the National Guideline Clearinghouse.  The strength of the recommendations are based on the SORT (Strength of Recommendation Taxonomy rating system).

Procedures Consult offers video, text, and illustrations on how to prepare for, perform and follow up on the most common procedures required in a hospital setting.

Drug Monographs contain drug and dosing information.
