Research guides for you!

The librarians have designed these guides specifically for TCOM/TCOP students and faculty. The guides help you select and navigate research specific resources. Using the guides will save you time and improve the quality of your sources!

Touro University resources at your disposal:

 Any research on human subjects must be approved by the Touro Human Subjects Institutional Review Board (HSIRB)

  • The Touro NY HSIRB is chaired by Dr. Zvi Loewy and the HSIRB can be reached at hsirb@touro.edu
  • Your local TouroCOM NY Representatives are Doctors Degenhardt & Henshaw in Harlem, and Doctors Wang & Yens in Middletown
  • HSIRB applications are submitted electronically through the Mentor Sitero platform found on the TouroOne portal https://shib.axiommentor.com/pages/home.cfm
  • Training in ethical research and protection of human subjects can be taken through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program)
