What is Visible Human Dissector?

The National Library of Medicine's Visible Human Project®  is the creation of complete, anatomically detailed, three-dimensional representations of the male and female human bodies. It provides a public-domain library of cross-sectional cryosection, CT, and MRI images obtained from one male cadaver and one female cadaver.  The male was sectioned at one millimeter intervals, the female at one-third of a millimeter intervals.

First year Osteopath students receive an email the first week of school containing a link to set up an account.
