Databases with direct export to RefWorks
- Perform a search in Embase.
- Choose "Export" rom the menu on the right side of the screen
- An export window will open. Click on the down arrow then choose "RefWorks Direct Export"
- Click on on the bottom right

- You’ll be prompted to choose which version of RefWorks to export to – choose the newest version.
- Click on

- Perform a search in ProQuest Central.
- Select the references you want to export by checking the box next to the entry. The number of items selected will appear at the top of the list of results.
- Click on the three white dots in a teal circle on the right side of the screen to open the "All save options" menu.
- Click on in the pop-up menu.
- This will open an "Export/Save options" window. This window will show the number of items selected and give you the option to deselect items when done. The output should be "RefWorks". You will need to complete the CAPTCHA before clicking "Continue" at the bottom of the window.
- You’ll be prompted to choose which version of RefWorks to export to – choose the newest version.
- If you are not signed in to RefWorks, you will be taken to the login screen. Sign in.
- Click on

- Perform a search in ProQuest Central.
- Select the references you want to export by checking the box next to the entry.
- Click on
- Choose from the pop-up menu.
- You’ll be prompted to choose which version of RefWorks to export to – choose the newest version.

- Perform a search in Cochrane.
- Select the references you want to export or choose "ALL".
- Select .
- A window will open asking you to select your method of export. Select . Here you may also select any additional information you want to export. The default selection is all Citation Information.
- Select Export in the bottom right corner of the window.
- You’ll be prompted to choose which version of RefWorks to export to – choose the newest version.
