For Residents and Preceptors

Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) and Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP) Libraries provide residents and preceptors with access to resources and services available to users at the Harlem, Middletown and Montana campuses. 

Services

  • Assistance using electronic resources
  • Help formulate research strategies
  • Provide direction in finding the most appropriate resources
  • Assist in database searching
  • Planning a literature review
  • Search databases to find citations to books and journal articles 
  • general information searching assistance,
  • assist with planning and executing a literature review or systematic review
  • provide group or individual training

If you are looking for material we don't own, we can order articles from other libraries.

Costs

There is no charge for interlibrary loan service. If materials cannot be found for free we will contact you before proceeding.

How long does it take to receive a request?

  • 1-3 day average
  • Requests made after hours or when the library is not staffed can take longer
  • Rush orders can be requested, there may be additional costs

How am I notified?

  •  You will receive email with a pdf attachment.
