Poster Printing: Printing in Great Falls

Poster sessions at conferences and professional meetings are a way to visually convey the details of your research or conclusions. This guide will offer you the basics in design, content and printing resources.

Students are allowed to print posters ONLY for: 

  • Touro events
  • Student organizations 
  • Professional conferences

Poster printing for personal materials and/or class lectures is NOT permitted.

Please send approved print jobs to the library at least 3 days in advance to ensure your posters are printed for your deadline.

Poster files can be sent as a pdf attachment or onedrive file to montanalibrary@touro.edu or bpotter2@touro.edu.  Please give permission for opening onedrive files.

Approval

RESEARCH DAY:  Research day posters must be approved by Dr. Tiffany Hensley-McBain (thensley@touro.edu) or Dr. Renee Reijo Pera (rreijo-p@touro.edu) before sending it to print.

OTHER POSTERS:

Before sending poster files to be printed, you will need to get approval from the Campus Dean, Dr. Elizabeth Palmarozzi. The Dean of Students also needs to be included. Please send your poster to Dr. Palmarozzi (elizabeth.palmarozzi@touro.edu) Dean of Students, Haley Denzer (hnunberg@touro.edu), and the library (montanalibrary@touro.edu).  Posters approved by Dr. Palmarozzi will be printed.

Posters should be in PDF or PowerPoint format.

Be sure to check for spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors before sending your materials. We will only print posters once.

You need to preview the approved poster in the library before library staff will print it, so contact library staff at montanalibrary@touro.edu to set up a poster preview time.

Preparation for Posters

1. Set the dimensions of your poster before sending the file. NOTE: If you change the dimensions after designing the poster, the text and graphics may shift.

2. There is no standard poster size. One side can be no larger than 36".  Check your conference requirements.

3.  Templates can be found on the Creating a Poster part of this guide or you can choose a template from below.

4.  Preview your poster.
