Scopus User Guide: Exporting to RefWorks

This is an introduction to the different features in the Scopus database and how to use Scopus for Research.

Export results

To export selected search results to RefWorks: (A free account is available to anyone with a Touro email)

  1. Select the document or documents you would like to export.
  2. Click the ‘Export’ link. The Export document settings page opens.

Click on   which opens RefWorks and adds your citations.

 

NOTE: If this is the first time you are exporting, you will first need to select RefWorks as your preferred reference management tool:

  1. Click your profile manager located in the top right corner. A drop-down menu displays.
  2. Click ‘Export and reference management settings’. The Export and reference management settings page opens.
  3. From the ‘Select your method of export’ section, click the button next ExLibris/RefWorks.
  4. Choose the information to export by checking the desired boxes from the section called, ‘What information do you want to export?’.
  5. Click ‘Save settings’.
