This is an introduction to the different features in the Scopus database and how to use Scopus for Research.

Become a registered user

Register as an individual user in Scopus to save searches for topics or authors. You can also set up alerts to be notified about new content on your subject, new articles by a particular author or new citations to an article. As a registered user, you can customize the export features of your reference manager tool. Scopus supports export to RefWorks (An institutional account is available to anyone at Touro).

Log into Scopus to personalize your experience:

  • Save searches
  • Create lists
  • Set up alerts
  • Monitor authors
  • Set preferences for reference management tools
  • Access your dashboard

Manage your account

From your personal dashboard, you can:

  • See author correction requests
  • Access Scopus support
  • Edit or delete saved searches
  • Edit or delete saved lists (authors, documents, sources)
  • Edit or delete reference management settings
  • Review and edit your privacy options
  • Set and manage alerts
