Poster Printing: Printing for Pharmacy

Poster sessions at conferences and professional meetings are a way to visually convey the details of your research or conclusions. This guide will offer you the basics in design, content and printing resources.

Printing posters at the Cross River Library

The library staff on the Cross River Campus can print posters for conference presentations and student club events

Advance approval by an instructor, faculty advisor, or dean is necessary.

An appointment date and time containing a ppt or pdf of your poster and your faculty approval email must be scheduled in advance.

REMINDER!

  1. Students must be present to preview a poster on the computer screen before it is sent to the printer.
  2. We can only print posters from PowerPoint or PDF files.
  3. Posters will only be printed once!
  4. The library staff do NOT edit posters.

Prepare

Prepare For Your Appointment

  1. Set the dimensions of your poster before your printing appointment!  NOTE: If you change the dimensions after designing the poster, the text and graphics may shift.
  2. There is no standard poster size.  The maximum dimension for one side of the poster is 36". The most common size is 36”x48”. We can print either portrait or landscape (landscape is more common for posters). PowerPoint templates with Touro logos can be found on the Creating a Poster page of this guide.
  3. Preview your poster to make sure it looks exactly as you want it to.
  4. Upload the poster file and faculty approval when you schedule your appointment

Please contact the library by phone (212-463-0400 ext. 55321) or email Marina Zilberman (marina.zilberman@touro.edu) with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
